The Platform

One mesh network. Every building system. A single source of truth.

Energio Systems is the layer that sits above your lighting, HVAC, access, and sensor hardware — reading every signal through MobiusFlow, applying Efika AI, and turning a building full of separate systems into one automated whole.

Architecture

Four layers. One platform.

Energio Systems is built as an open stack, not a closed box — so you can add devices, swap vendors, and extend the network without ripping anything out.

  • Device layer — Energio Lighting fixtures, Energio Controls sensors, and open-protocol partner hardware (DANLERS, Wirepas, INGY) all report to the same mesh.
  • Network layer — a resilient wireless mesh backbone carries data between devices and the platform with no single point of failure.
  • Integration layer — MobiusFlow middleware unites more than 100 protocols and legacy systems, so systems share data in both directions and trigger actions in each other.
  • Intelligence layer — Efika, our AI building agent, reads the combined data stream and recommends schedules, alerts and optimizations. You approve, and it acts.

Why Lighting

The lighting is the key.

Lighting is the only system in a building that is in every space, is evenly distributed and always has power. With luminaire level lighting control, every fixture also carries a wireless radio.

Energio uses that radio network as the building's IoT backbone. Sensors, tags and other systems send their data across the same Wirepas mesh without affecting how the lights work. For the cost of the lighting system, you also get a building-wide information network that runs separately from your company's IT network.

  • No dedicated receivers or gateways in every room
  • One shared sensor can serve lighting, HVAC and security
  • Scales from a single floor to a campus on one network
Capabilities

Everything the platform automates.

Twelve connected capabilities, grouped by what they do for the building and the people in it.

Comfort & Efficiency

Lighting Control

Fixture-level dimming, scheduling, and daylight harvesting across every connected luminaire.

HVAC Control

Zone-level heating and cooling driven by real occupancy, not a fixed timer.

Air Quality

Continuous CO₂ and air-quality readings that automatically trigger ventilation changes.

Air & Surface Disinfection

Scheduled and sensor-triggered disinfection cycles in shared and high-traffic spaces.

Safety & Security

Access Control

Door and zone security integrated with occupancy and energy logic, not siloed on its own panel.

Fire Detection

Life-safety sensing on the same mesh, with alerts that reach the same dashboard as everything else.

Operations & Insights

Equipment Monitoring

Predictive alerts on mechanical equipment before a fault turns into downtime.

Power Monitoring

Circuit-level visibility into demand, consumption, and anomalies.

People Counting

Anonymous occupancy analytics that inform HVAC, lighting, and space planning.

Asset Tracking

Real-time location of mobile equipment and high-value assets across the facility.

Desk & Room Scheduling

Live desk and conference-room availability synced directly to occupancy sensors.

Sensor Sharing

One physical sensor feeds every application that needs it — no redundant hardware.

Efika, Always Optimizing

The intelligence layer: Efika.

Efika is Esperanto for efficient. It reads everything your building reports through MobiusFlow, finds the waste and the warning signs, and tells you what to do about them in plain English. You approve, Efika acts, and every action is logged.

  • Cuts energy use across lighting, HVAC and plug loads
  • Knows how every space is really used, from the sensor in every fixture
  • Flags failing equipment before it costs you downtime
  • Works with the AI and cloud platforms you already use
